\nA recent unexpected finding suggests that not everyone in Charles\u2019 personal circle believed it was a good idea, despite his desire and eventual decision to publicly announce his c\u03b1\u03b7c\u03b5\u044f diagnosis. According to Robert Jobson, author of the 2023 book Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, Queen Camilla first opposed the proposal to make King Charles\u2019 condition public.<\/p>\n

Jobson said: \u201cThe King overruled Queen Camilla, who had initially opposed disclosing his condition, feeling it was an opportunity to take a lead, and in doing so to encourage men experiencing similar symptoms to seek timely medical attention.\u201d<\/p>\n
