But kindness is all around us, and sometimes a stranger can do something so nice that it makes the world seem brighter.<\/p>\n
The Story:
\nI had my son when I was 17. His father and I split up, and I was left on my own without support from my parents. Times were tough, and eventually, I ran out of food.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t know what to do, so I went to my friends to ask for money, holding my 1-year-old son. They didn\u2019t help me.<\/p>\n
I ended up walking and crying, not knowing where to turn. Then a car stopped, and a man said, \u201cGet in, I\u2019ll give you a ride.\u201d<\/p>\n
I was hesitant at first, but it was raining, so I decided to go with him. With tears in my eyes, I shared my story with him.<\/p>\n
He looked at me and then gave me $100. I was able to pay for daycare and find a job. We didn\u2019t become rich, but I\u2019m very thankful to that man. By the way, my son is now 30.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
