Kamala Harris has broken her months-long silence, and according to many, she said exactly what most of us are thinking.<\/p>\n
Harris, who lost the presidential elections to Donald Trump, spoke of the feeling of fear sweeping across the United States under the current president\u2019s renewed leadership.<\/p>\n
In a speech at Leading Women Defined Summit in California on April 3, Harris indirectly touched the subject of the tariffs Trump imposed on nations worldwide as well as his many actions and the signings of executive orders, most of which contradict with the law. In fact, her words referred to the situation that he created with his actions.<\/p>\n
When one person, when a few stand with the courage, that is the courage exhibited by the leaders in this room every day.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo have the courage to say I feel fear, the courage to say what is happening is wrong, the courage to say that there is a way that we must chart to get through this.<\/p>\n

She went on to say, \u201cThese are the things we\u2019re witnessing day after day in recent months. And yes \u2014 it creates fear. Because many of the things we\u2019re seeing\u2026 we knew were coming. I\u2019m not here to say, \u2018I told you so.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
