Several actors from Supernatural have appeared in The Boys such as Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but they\u2019ve never appeared alongside each other in the new series. Morgan, for his part, believes that Season 5 would be the perfect time to reunite with his former co-star.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Variety, the cast of The Boys answered questions about the show\u2019s Season 4 finale and the future of their characters. In all this, Morgan expressed his clear desire to once again star alongside Jensen Ackles in a hit television show, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t know how you do Season 5 without an appearance, at least. That\u2019s my feeling. I\u2019ve never had any official talks about it, but I think it\u2019d be really hard to carry on without some sort of resolution \u2014 and hopefully that\u2019ll be a whole season! I want to have scenes with everyone that\u2019s part of that show, but I obviously have a long-standing relationship with Jensen, especially. He\u2019s like my brother.\u201d Morgan also mentions Jim Beaver, who he calls \u201cone of the coolest people in the world.\u201d On The Boys, Beaver plays former Secretary of Defense Robert Singer, who is named after his own character in Supernatural, Bobby Singer, himself named after longtime TV producer Robert Singer \u2013just a bit complicated.<\/p>\n

Morgan also went on to praise both Ackles\u2019 performance as Soldier Boy as well as the character itself, saying, \u201cJensen\u2019s Soldier Boy was one of the single greatest characters I\u2019ve seen in television in a long, long time. His performance blew me away. I did want to work with him \u2014 and we also have a really good time together, the two of us, especially. And, obviously, that was a carrot in front of my face that I was chasing after, sure.\u201d Ackles played older brother Dean Winchester on Supernatural for 15 years before playing The Boys\u2018 version of Captain America \u2013with a seriously dark twist.<\/p>\n
Much has been said about the possibility of an ultimate Supernatural reunion on The Boys, which would include Jared Padalecki, who played Sam Winchester. A reunion between Padalecki, Ackles, Morgan, and Beaver would \u201cdestroy much of the world,\u201d joked Kripke. The showrunner has revealed that he contacted Padalecki upon the cancellation of his series on The CW, Walker, and asked him to join the cast. \u201cJust let me know if I have to get naked or not because I gotta start working out now,\u201d was Padalecki\u2019s response.

\nThe fifth and final season of The Boys will come out in \u201c2 years\u201d according to actor Karl Urban.
