Under mounting pressure from his party to step aside, President Joe Biden told reporters in front of the White House that he intends to remain in the November contest.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going anywhere,\u201d Biden told reporters.<\/p>\n

During a poor performance in CNN\u2019s debate against former President Donald Trump last week, Biden struggled to clearly answer questions and clarify his plans. Now, Democratic legislators, funders, and analysts have started urging the president to drop out of the race before the convention.<\/p>\n

Biden hailed WW2 veterans as heroes who battled for freedom and democracy on the White House lawn. The address was meant to persuade the followers of the president that he is still qualified to challenge Trump. Biden answered reporters on his political future as he concluded his address, stating he was not wavering from the 2024 contest.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou got me, man. I\u2019m not going anywhere. Alright,\u201d Biden told reporters. \u201cYou know, I used to think, when I was a Senator, there was always congestion on the highways. There\u2019s no congestion anymore! We go out on the highway and there\u2019s no congestion!\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThe way they get me to stop talking, they\u2019ll say, \u2018we just shut down all the roads, Mr. President. You\u2019re gonna lose all the votes if you don\u2019t get in,\u2019 but anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n
