Denzel Washington is thinking about retiring after his next projects are done.

Denzel Washington, a famous actor, recently said that he is going to leave Hollywood after a few more projects are finished. In a recent interview with Australia’s Today show, the 69-year-old actor said, “I’m not sure how many more films I’m going to make.” He also said that he wanted to end his long career. Most likely not that many.”

 

Washington is busy with a lot of projects, one of which is playing Othello again after the first time he played the part when he was 22 years old. At age 70, he will play the part again. He also made hints that he might work with renowned directors Steve McQueen and Ryan Coogler, who is rumoured to be working on a part for him in the upcoming Black Panther movie. Washington also talked about possible projects, such as King Lear. After that, he wants to retire.

 

 

With a career that spans more than 40 years, Washington has become one of the most recognised actors in Hollywood. In 1977, he made his first movie, Wilma, which was made for TV. In 1981, he made his first full-length movie, Carbon Copy. Since then, he’s given great performances in movies like Glory, Training Day, and Malcolm X, which has made him famous all over the world and won him many awards.
