Countdown Is On! Jensen Ackles, Jessica Camacho Race to Stop a ‘Chernobyl-Level Event’ in Amazon Trailer

The Countdown is on as Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Jessica Camacho (The Flash, All Rise), Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy, Euphoria) and others race to hunt down a WMD in the first trailer for the new Prime Video action drama.
Created by Derek Haas (executive producer of #OneChicago and FBI franchises), Countdown premieres Wednesday, June 25, with its first three episodes, followed by weekly drops through Sept. 3. The series’ cast also boasts Violett Beane (The Flash), Elliot Knight (The Boys) and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock).
“When an officer with the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD detective Mark Meachum (played by Ackles) is recruited to a secret task force, alongside undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement, to investigate,” the official synopsis tells us. “But the hunt for the killer soon uncovers a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, kicking off a race against time to save a city of millions.”
